Dr. Christine McCallum PT, DPT
"I've wanted to be a physical therapist since I was in 8th grade. Fortunately, the path I chose has placed me in a great position to help employees stay healthy and pain free."
I attended UC San Diego and achieved a B.A. in Physiology, then attended USC to get my Masters in Physical Therapy. I moved to Colorado immediately after graduation and have made Denver metro my home. I enjoyed being a traveling PT throughout the US. Ultimately, I returned to Colorado and Regis University to complete my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013.
I have spent the last two decades developing the complete injury prevention services model for employees. I am the owner of McCallum Injury Prevention & Care. We set up on-site clinics at company locations. My skill set includes excellence in injury prevention, physical therapy care, pre-employment testing, and physical ergonomics.
When not working, I love spending time with cycling friends, attending music festivals, and of course, family time is the best!
Dr. James Wernel PT, DPT, OCS
I grew up in Kansas and graduated from the University of Kansas with my doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014. I moved to Denver and started working at the Steadman Hawkins clinic in Denver. Some of my areas of speciality are sports medicine, rotator cuff repairs, ACL, meniscus surgeries, and ankle issues.I am a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and have my Level II Dry Needling Certification. I also work in Acute care in Denver, so I work closely with the joint replacement team and excel in treating patients with knee, hip, and shoulder replacements.
When I'm not working, I've taken on all of the Colorado activities! I enjoy skiing of all kinds (downhill, cross country, and backcountry), mountain and gravel biking, hiking, camping, and fly fishing.
